This NRS Healthcare Jar / Bottle / Ring Pull Multi Opener is a handy kitchen aid designed to help remove all types of jar and bottle lids. It is extremely versatile and can be used to open pressure sealed caps, twist-off bottle caps, ring pull cans and jar lids. It’s ideal to use if you have poor grip strength, hand impairments, or pain caused by arthritis or similar conditions.

The lightweight opener is made from blue coloured plastic with smooth edges. It has an elongated, ergonomically designed handle that is comfortable and easy to hold, and provides extra leverage. There’s a differently shaped ring at either end: one for opening twist top bottles (e. g. fizzy drinks) and the other smaller ring for use both ways up-one way for jar lids, then flipped over for cap tops (e. g. beer bottles). The larger ring for twist top bottles also has a thick plastic hook on the underside which can be used to open those fiddly ring pull cans.

The opener works by releasing the vacuum which makes the screw top jars hard to open and by providing extra leverage to twist lids off easily.
